A heat pump needs an annual service in the same way a boiler does. It keeps the efficiency up, it keeps the running costs down and it keeps the manufacturer’s warranty valid. We service every major make, whether we fitted it or not, and we repair and replace them too.

Most heating firms will tell you they are approved by a manufacturer. Very few get asked to be the case study.

Alan Carruthers has been working with Daikin since 2008 and is a Daikin certified installer, reference CI35. Daikin published a case study on one of his installations at a 1980s semi detached house in Plymouth, where the old gas boiler, the loft tanks and the cylinder in the bedroom cupboard were replaced with a Daikin Multi+ system and a 230 litre mains pressure cylinder.
